Yes; we are slow at keeping our blog updated

Well it has been a while since our last update. We now have the blessing pictures on here along with some other fun ones. Grant has been so much fun these last couple of weeks. He has started to giggle once in a while and we have a movie of that here at the bottom if you want to see and hear that. Well a couple weeks back between Aug 31 and Sept 7 Angela and Grant went up to Price due to a lot of smoke in the air in the Cedar City area. If you haven’t been caught up on the news, there was a fire in New Harmony (a town between Cedar and St. George) that started and just got worse and worse. On Saturday Aug 29 at night Angela could smell smoke coming from the swamp cooler and thought that the lady next door was smoking outside again and never thought anything of it. Later on that night Angela tried to turn on the cooler again and could smell smoke and she thought it was ridiculous that the woman would be smoking at 2:00am so she peeked outside the door and took a quick whiff of the air and could smell smoke as if there was a campfire around. This was a little suspicious but she just assumed that it was the KOA nearby. Well over the next couple of days the smell got worse and we would often wake up to ash all over our vehicles. We then decided it would be best if Angela and Grant went up to Price for the rest of the week and come back after Will’s (Blaise and Danielle’s baby) baby blessing. Luckily Katie, Joseph’s sister, was planning on coming up for the weekend which helped us out not to have to take two vehicles to Price and back.

While up in Price Angela had a great time being with Grant and his grandparents. She took the week off of school and just wanted to give the extended family some time with Grant that they probably won’t be able to have for a long time. So Angela is back to school this week and is slowly progressing. She has planned her semester out so she won’t be so stressed but being a daughter of a father and mother who are perfectionists it is inevitable for her to be stressed and worried.

Joseph has been having a difficult time with school. It seems that the subjects aren’t too bad it’s simply the teachers that are giving him a hard time. We wish everyday that we could be done with his undergraduate schooling but we suppose having the grants and scholarships that come along with undergraduate school make it worth it. It is nice not having to pay for school.

Well that’s what’s going on down here in Cedar City and we hope to keep ya updated as often as possible with our little guy.
