Baby B

Our 2nd child, Baby B, was born the beginning of this month (if you notice I am trying to be more vague it's because I need to start doing it or go private and I know that going private can be difficult for some of our followers so I am trying to be flexible so if you want more details please put in a comment with your email and I will contact you). He is such a sweet little boy and a really good baby. There have been moments of gas problems due to his mother's need of chocolate and a concern or two about his eating habits but overall we have slowly, semi-adjusted to this new-world experience. I had an easy labor and delivery. Everything went as planned. Joe flew in on Wednesday night, Toddler G had his birthday on Thursday, I had the baby on Friday, and we had the baby blessing on Monday. It was a really chaotic week.

I did find time to relax with both children with the help of my parents as well as Joe's parents and family. Toddler G is slowly adjusting to Baby B. I show you the pictures of Toddler-G hugging Baby B (I don't know how long I can do these acronyms) instead of him pulling on his limbs or kind of smothering him. Like I said he is adjusting and he is learning his limits.

We are ALL now in Tucson. It was a long 2 months, or should I say it was a long 7 months, in Price. We are still wondering whether going to Tucson was a good idea. It has seemed that this move has pulled us apart as a family for so long which has been difficult, especially for Toddler-G. The first two days here in Tucson Toddler G wouldn't let daddy go without a fight. He still cries to see daddy go but not so much and the most common times for him to cry for daddy are when I am nursing or when he is in trouble (as if I never did that lol). Other things that have been negative is changing our insurance and then Joe's bike getting stolen. Yes it happened. I can't believe it happened. I felt so violated when I found out this Monday that it was stolen. I could not even nap that day due to my frustration. And then today I am looking out the window and I saw a guy bike into the parking lot with a bike that looked just like Joe's (at least from a distance). I think that I am going crazy because I am becoming suspicious of everyone in this city. Maybe this is what I need, little small-town Utah girl toughening up and not trusting anyone, at least until I get to know them... I hope. Things should work out fine, these are only the negative things. I am sure by Christmas I will be joyful about living in Tucson perhaps because of time or the fact that my "winter" will be perfect weather.

This is me minutes before I went in to the Hospital to be induced. Yes I am small but it's because of a lack of fluids.
Baby B at 2 weeks 5 days. I have skinny little kids. He has distinctly long fingers and toes.
Mommy and kids one day after the birth. It took a few visits before Toddler G warmed up to Baby B.
One big happy family. This is the Baby blessing done in my parents' home due to how young Baby B is and the fact that we wanted to do it in Price rather than Tucson.
Toddler G hugging Baby B. It was really cute to watch until G decided to try and roll over him or something. Like I said G is good one moment and the next is naughty.

  1. You'll get used to your older child wanting to help when help is not wanted. Connor is now trying to pick up jacob all the time. You just have to set limits. It's great having two and I'm sure you're doing an excellent job.
