Almost Done

This past week the hardest semester so far finally ended, but we couldn't celebrate until about a week after when we received our grades. Angela did not have to worry about her grades, because she knew that they were going to be A's, which they were. As for me, well lets just say we prayed really, really, really, really hard that I would at least pass "the one" class. so for about 5 days we stressed and worried about what grade I would get. When the grades were posted we were in shock and awe when we learned that I failed the class (just kidding), but we were in shock when the final grade was a B. Now a B might be on the lower end for most people, but for me, and for this class, getting a B was like winning A gold medal in the Olympics. Ok so maybe not that exciting, but nevertheless we were pretty excited. And along with that grade I was finally able to lift my GPA back up past a 3.5.

To enjoy our celebration to the fullest, we bought a new truck, a new house, we took out a loan so we could buy some wave-runners, and to top it off we are going to Europe for 3 weeks. Ok so maybe we didn't do all those things, Ok fine we did not do any of those things, But Angela did make one of the best desserts on the planet. Aztec dessert is a mix of ice-cream, oreo's, fudge, whip-cream, and reese's pieces. It was really good. But the best part of our celebrating is that by next December we will be finished with school at SUU. And from here on out, classes should be nowhere near the amount of time and stress as was this past year.

For those of you who only read our blog to hear how Grant is doing and really don't care about our exciting fun-filled lives and wish we would stop babbling about worthless nonsense. here it is.

Grant is turning 11 months this month, and is now crawling like a pro all around the house, ignoring his toys and getting into everything he can. We have now officially begun baby proofing the house, we had to put plug protector thingies in the outlets, and cabinet locks on all our bottom cupboards. When we set him down we have to make sure that we check on him often, just to make sure he doesn't get into trouble or get hurt. He also climbs and stands on just about everything he can, and his new favorite item to play with is the trash can where his stinky diapers are (ewwwww). We think it is because it is really shiny. But other than that he is still learning to walk, and we will keep you posted when that moment comes.
